    "Q-Car"

The famous toy car became in real

Have you ever dreamed "if I can ride and drive this car for real..." when you were a little and played with a toy car? Well, your dream can come true if you come to Odaiba, Tokyo!
TAKARA Co., Ltd., a big Japanese toy company had produced a electric motor called "Q-Car" in 2002.

"Q-Car" was created based on "Cyoro Q" which is a famous toy car most Japanese have played with when we were little. You let back wheels spin by pulling hard and when letting it go, it start running. (Maybe it sounds familiar?)

Nowadays, we have new style of "Cyoro Q" called "Digi Q" which was produced in 2001. It's got a remote control to make it easier and more fun to play with.
In fact, not only children but also adults still buy them for their collections or simply play with them. "Cyoro Q" has been a very popular toy car over generations ever since 1978.

TAKARA Co., Ltd. has produced "Q-Car" for only limited numbers of 999. At first, only 99 of "Q-car" were produced, however, they were sold out a lot faster than expected so the additional 900 were produced right away.
Why do they care so much about the number "9"? There is a reason. "Q" has the same sounds of "9" in Japanese and that is why 999 of "9-Car" (Q-Car) were produced.

Unfortunately, they are not ready to be sold in overseas because of maintenance and distribution issues. Hopefully they will be in a near future...

But please do not get disappointed, yet. There are places where you can test drive "Q-Car"!
"Q-Car" has own dealer shops called "Q-Square" and their head office is placed in Odaiba, Tokyo.
For test driving, you must have either a Japanese driver license or an international driver license. You also must be aware that "Q-Square" don't take any responsibility if you are injured while test driving.
If you are aware of those two things and sign the paper at the front of "Q-Square", any one can test drive "Q-Car"!
I, off course, did test driving and it was the one of the most fun time I ever had!
You might have to wait a line for a little while but you must go there!!
