| Tsukikagedo
was established on November 11, Heisei 11 (1999) and is comprised
of eight Jodo-shu ministers from the Kansai area of Japan. These
Jodo-shu Buddhist ministers are applying the principles of a practical
use of Buddhism in this contemporary world by following Honen
Shonin’s O-Nenbutsu teaching as well as the teaching of Shakyamuni
Buddha. The main activities of the organization are planning events
such as workshops to teach sign language at Jodo-shu temples,
and promoting a variety of educational materials. We wish to have
more of these activities and encourage more people to join us
as members in the future.
